What we find to be one of the most common mistakes with landscaping today is mismatching plants; mixing drought-tolerant plants with others that require more water. Irrigation systems can only accommodate one or the other. Part of Leading Essential Change is being well-educated and mindful with plants we recommend for our designs. In addition to plant selection, we are also well-versed in soil differences. We analyze the soil for each project to best match irrigation solutions and treatments so the plants we do use thrive in their environment. We then incorporate soil amendments that are safe, effective and environmentally-sound.
Upon meeting with customers and learning their goals and needs, we document their preferences and factor them into the landscape design. We are able to provide beautiful landscapes that also bode well with limitations due to water restrictions.
